Packet injection is the opposite of what airodump-ng. It's a generic term. The deauthentication is one of the different packets of 802.11.- radiotap.org- Google 802.11 frame structure.

catzlol, you cannot put it in monitor mode with airmon-ng becaus it's not a mac80211 driver, it's a mix of old and new. Check blog.aircrack-ng.org where I talk more about it
